Jessica & Jennie - Civil Union!

Last weekend I captured 2 of my best friends Jessica & Jennie's Civil Union in Pekin! Their ceremony was outside and the weather was perfect!! They were gathered around by so many friends and family! I cried like a baby during the ceremony! One of the advantages of being a photographer is you can hide those tears behind your camera! (:

 

 

2014 Changes!

2014 is just around the corner believe it or not, which means changes are happening! I am thrilled and so excited how many sessions I have done this year and I still have coming up! Because Happily Ever After Photography has kicked off and I have been crazy busy with sessions, weddings, and editing along with my personal life I have decided to increase the prices! I know, it's kind of a bummer, but it's something I have to do!

 Portrait sessions are going up to $85.00 per session for a family of 3-4! If it's a bigger family the price will jump to $100-$200 depending on how long the session will take!

 

I am also going to be offering a 1st Year Photo Plan! It's for all you Mom's out there that want to remember your baby's first year! Sessions will be when the baby is a newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, & 1 year! The photo plan will start at $400.

 

I had a few Boudoir sessions this year and I loved them! I think it's great for women to want to do these pictures for their men! I did one for my husband as a wedding gift and he loved them! So ladies, your man will love them! (: Boudoir sessions are starting at $150. If you are a Bride and you are wanting to do one for your Husband then we can add it to your wedding package!

Wedding prices are increasing as well. If you have already given me a deposit for your 2014 wedding your prices are locked in with 2013 prices! For now on, if you book your wedding with me, your price will start at $1,500! This includes an engagement session with location of your choice, 2 photographers for your wedding day, all day coverage, and a CD with your edited photos!

 

I know every Bride has a budget and as a Bride you want to stay within your budget as much as you can even though it's super easy to go over, but I want to help! I was a Bride with a small budget so I want to help any Bride out there as much as I can! If my prices seem too out of your price range please e-mail me and let me know because I know how it feels to want something and you can't have it because it's not in budget, so please let me know! We can try and work something out!

Baby Myers coming soon!

A couple weeks ago I captured the Rutledge Family annnd I did a Mini session with 2 of our best friends Austin & Katie!!! I was SO excited they asked me to shoot this for them! I am so honored to be a part of this and I am so glad I could help them announce it to the world they have some big news to tell everyone...

 

 

I just want to tell you guys, Stefan and I couldn't be more happy for the 2 of you! You are going to be fun, loving, amazing parents to little baby Peter! We love you guys! (:

Mugler Twins!

Erin and I captured our first set of twins this morning and we loved it! We had so much fun with the Muglers at the park and the fire station! The weather was perfect until we got to the end and Mother Nature turned the heat on! Here are a few shots from their session this morning! (:

 

 

 

She Said Yes!!!!

I am SO excited and have waiting for this day for a very long time!! Eric told me and Stefan a few weeks he was ready to buy Lindsay, my sister, a ring and he wanted us to go ring shopping with him and he asked me to capture it!! I was thrilled and almost cried because I am SO happy and excited for them I could bust!! (: In order to keep this a surprise and not let her suspect anything we planned on doing mini sessions with the Pipps and Stefan and I so there are only a few photos of us because the main reason and focus was for the Franks! (:

 

 

So as fast and unplanned as these were, they turned out super cute! (:

 

 

Now these are the main reason why we did these mini shoots! We had to get Lindsay out to the location so the Pipp's said they needed new family pictures and Lindsay said they wanted some too, worked out perfectly! (:

and this was the last pose and I thought it would be perfect for Frank to do it! You can kind of see the nerves in his face in this one! (:

Stefan was on Henry duty and recording it on Frank's phone! So he also helped out! (:

 

 

When Stefan let Henry go it was the cutest thing! He was just as excited as they were! (:
